PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure scattering body belt which scatteringly transmits a pressure load to the body, causes neither a feeling of sweatiness nor a feeling of pain even if it is worn for many hours, leaves no trace of wearing on the body, causes no damage such as a rash, retains the shape even if it is worn for a long time, and is lightweight, slim and friendly to the body. SOLUTION: The body belt is formed of an elastic textile 21 exhibiting a stress (F) of 50 (N/5 cm) or higher and 600 (N/5 cm) or lower when it is elongated by 10% in the length direction, which is woven and knitted by using monofilament elastic thread exhibiting the degree of breaking elongation of 60% or higher, an elastic recovery rate of 90% or higher after elongation by 15%, a single fiber fineness of 200 dtex or higher, a stress of 0.1 cN/dtex to 0.8 cN/dtex when it is elongated by 10%. The intermediate portion of the length direction of the body belt is formed of an elastic woven or knitted cloth 21, and the front and rear ends may be made of a load-bearing strip 22 exhibiting a stress (F) of 600 (N/5 cm) or higher when it is elongated by 10% in the length direction.
