PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door locking device capable of making it convenient to put in and out articles by enlarging the overlap allowance of sliding doors in the open state to sufficiently secure maximum opening. SOLUTION: A locking mechanism 6 is provided for holding a plurality of sliding doors 1, 2, 3 in the closed state while relating the sliding doors 1, 2, 3 in a relatively movable manner through a relating mechanism 5 between the mutually overlapping open state and the closed state of almost eliminating the overlap. The locking mechanism 6 is composed of a lock 61 serving as a locking part provided at a face plate part of the sliding door 3 located on the back face side in a depth direction, and a restricting part 62a provided on the rear face of the sliding door 3 on the back face side and operated by operation inputted to the lock 61 to restrict the relating mechanism 5.
