The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a rubber composition which can exhibit both low loss properties and wear resistance at high levels; and a tire. The rubber composition according to the present invention comprises a rubber component comprising at least two polymer components and a filler comprising at least silica, said rubber composition being characterized in that the rubber component is separated into at least two polymer phases having different tanδ temperature dispersion curve peak temperatures from each other, the peak temperature of a tanδ temperature dispersion curve of one of the at least two polymer phases, which is a polymer phase having the lowest tanδ temperature dispersion curve peak temperature among the at least two polymer phases, is -110 to -20ºC, the peak temperature of a tanδ temperature dispersion curve of one of the at least two polymer phases, which is a polymer phase having the highest tanδ temperature dispersion curve peak temperature among the at least two polymer phases, is -10 to 10ºC, the amount of the filler is 30 to 130 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, 30% by mass or more of the filler exists in the polymer phase having the lowest tanδ temperature dispersion curve peak temperature, and the filler has an average area of agglomerates of 2100 nm2 or less. |
