PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cleaning automatically in the process unit of an imaging system by sliding a cleaning member on the head of a wiring unit when it is separated from a photosensitive body. SOLUTION: In the process unit of an imaging system, a shielding/cleaning member 35 is disposed at the opening 31 in a frame 30 for positioning an image writing unit 25 with respect to a photosensitive body 21 and a cleaning pad 38 arranged on the sheet member 36 of the shielding/cleaning member is slid on a head 25a. A sheet member 37 on the side opposite to the sheet member 36 arranged with the cleaning pad 38 is composed of an elastic sheet in order to shield the opening 31 while protecting the photosensitive body 21. |
