PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor, where a wound type element is connected to external extraction electrode members, respectively corresponding to first and second poles, on both the end surfaces of the wound element, and also, where the wound element is reliably connected and fixed to the external extraction electrode member and also is a low internal resistance. SOLUTION: The collectors 105, 106 of the wound element 101 are respectively bent toward the opposite direction of the winding axis 104 of the wound element 101 concerning regions 118, 123, and are respectively bent toward the direction of the winding axis 104 of the wound element 101 concerning the regions 119, 124, so that end surfaces 115, 120 are constituted. The collector 105 is connected to a lid member 103 on the end surface 115, so as to be the first pole of the capacitor.
