<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which efficiency of using light and luminance are heightened, and a side lobe and moire are effectively reduced by reducing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: In the display device, a lens protective layer 330 having a projecting and recessing structure with an average interval Sm is formed on an incidence plane of a polarizing plate 33 disposed on the rear side of a display section 21 seen from the observer's side, a light control structure having a plurality of projections and recessions is formed on an outgoing plane of a light control sheet 1, and the light control structure consists of: a closest periodic structure 5 which is a periodic structure closest to the lens protective layer 330; and a farthest periodic structure 3 which is a periodic structure farthest from the lens protective layer 330, wherein the average interval Sm is set to be in the range of 80 to 250 μm, the closest interval P1 of the closest periodic structure 5 is set to be in the range of 10 to 200 μm, and the average interval Sm and the closest interval P1 satisfy a relation 0.4≤Sm/P1≤25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
