PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boxing device capable of feeding articles into a box having one open side in a state of placing a sheet-like article on a top face of the article to be boxed which is laid sideways.SOLUTION: A boxing device boxes an article and a sheet-like article after overlapping them at an overlapping position. The boxing device comprises: holding means for holding the sheet-like article conveyed from upstream at the overlapping position; an upper guide provided above the overlapping position; push-up means for pushing up the article toward the overlapping position from below; and a pushing/feeding member movable in a direction crossing a conveying direction of the sheet-like article. The article is pushed up from below toward the sheet-like article held by the holding means. The sheet-like article is held by the article and the upper guide while being placed on a top face of the article. Then, the article and the sheet-like articles are pushed and accommodated inside a box having one open side while maintaining the overlapped state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
