PURPOSE: A code saving method in a keyless entry system using a communication network and multi-user interface(MUT) is provided to efficiently perform code saving control between the transmitter and receiver of the keyless entry system. CONSTITUTION: In a code saving method in a keyless entry system using a communication network and MUT, when the code saving mode of MUT is selected(S1), MUT transmits a message informing of the code saving mode to an ADM(S2). When the ADM transmits the message to ETACS through the communication network of a LAN system, the ETACS sends it to the receiver of KES through bidirectional synchronization communication(S4). The receiver of the KES is converted into a code saving standby mode according to the code saving mode(S5). When the ETACS send a message informing of completion conversion into the standby mode to the ADM, the ADM transmits it to the MUT(S6,S7). A user sends the unique code for code saving to the receiver using the transmitter of the KES. The receiver performs code saving using the unique code sent when the unique code is transmitted within a predetermined period of time(S10). The code saving mode is cancelled when the unique code is not sent within the period of time or code saving has been completed(S11,S12). |
