A method for preparing luggage for further transportation by air, water or land transport includes its wrapping around the perimeter by a packaging film using a packaging unit established in the points of packing luggage in the premises of carriers of air, water and land transport. Using means of a module of generation of the automated information system a unique electronic code is formed for each piece of luggage, in which the information is encoded necessary for further transportation of the baggage followed by its conversion into a graphic image that contains an alphanumeric code, and which is transmitted to the computer equipment with appropriate software mounted in the points of packing luggage of premises of the carriers of air, water and land transport, and using a marking device connected to the computer equipment marking of each piece of luggage is performed in the form of an identification sticker, onto which the alphanumeric code is applied, while the unique individual electronic code for each piece of luggage is entered to the database of the carrier. Next an insurance contract is concluded for each packed piece of luggage, and the information on each insurance contract is entered into the database of the automated information system simultaneously with the issue of the document confirming the insurance on a hard copy comprising selected insurance risk, passport details of the insurer, itinerary of the luggage and alphanumeric code that corresponds to the unique electronic code of each individual piece of luggage. |
