PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling joint device capable of absorbing swing motion without damage even when an obstacle projecting downward is formed on the joint part side, with a small gap between the obstacle and a ceiling material, and the joint part getting narrowed by an earthquake.SOLUTION: A ceiling joint device 1 comprises a ceiling material 7 in which a lower part suspended and fixed by a suspension tool 5 located at a place lower than the lower part of an obstacle 4 projecting downward formed in one building 3, is formed on an inclined plane 6 projecting outward, a joint ceiling cover 9 for covering a joint part 2 between the inclined plane 6 and the wall surface of the other building 3 abutted, a joint ceiling cover support 10 for supporting the rear end of the joint ceiling cover 9, a holding mechanism 11 which holds the part closer to the central part of the joint ceiling cover 9 in a suspension state, and a rear end movement mechanism 12 which moves the rear end to the upper part so that the tip of the joint ceiling cover 9 does not collide with the obstacle 4 when the joint part gets narrowed by an earthquake and the tip of the joint ceiling cover 9 rides over the ceiling material 7. |
