The present invention relates to an active type impact absorbing seat back capable of reducing damage more efficiently, which can occur in head, neck, back, waist, etc. of a passenger by absorbing shock energy while a seat back moves backwardly when the upper body of the passenger moves backwardly with an inertial force and is in contact with the seat back and applies an impact to the seat back. To this end, the present invention comprises: a support bracket (100) connected to a side of a recliner (5) to form at least one first fixation hole (110) in the surroundings; a seat back side frame (200) connected to a side of the support bracket (100) to form at least one second fixation hole (210) corresponding to the first fixation hole (110); and a fixation hole (7) to combine the support bracket (100) and the seat back side frame (200) by penetrating the first fixation hole (110) and the second fixation hole (210), wherein the second fixation hole (210) forms a slot structure to connect a mounting end part (211) with a diameter (R1) corresponding to a diameter of the fixation hole (7) and a shock absorption end part (213) with a diameter (R2) smaller than a diameter of the fixation hole (7). |
