<p>A ferritic stainless steel for use in producing a urea water tank, which contains C: 0.05% or less, N: 0.05% or less, Si: 0.02 to 1.5%, Mn: 0.02 to 2%, and Cr: 15 to 23%, and further contains Nb and/or Ti in an amount of 8(C+N) to 1% with the balance being iron and unavoidable impurities, and which has an effective Cr content of 15% or above as defined by formula (I), (II) or (III).
