PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat applicator in which an appropriate thermal stimulation by change in temperature of heat transfer part can be applied to the skin of a user.SOLUTION: There are provided: a heat transfer part for supplying heat to the region around an eye of a user; and a heat source part having an adjustable temperature and is built in a device body while being in thermally conductive contact with the heat transfer part. The heat source part is switchable between: a heat transfer part-side heat generation state in which the heat is obtained by a heat absorption on one side of the heat source part, the obtained heat then being transferred to the heat transfer part by the heat generation at the other side of the heat source part in contact with the heat transfer part; and heat transfer part-side heat absorption state in which the heat is discharged by a heat generation on one side of the heat source part, the discharged heat then being taken from the heat transfer part by the heat absorption at the other side of the heat source part in contact with the heat transfer part. When a user starts operation, the heat transfer part is heated at a predetermined temperature by maintaining the heat transfer part-side heat generation state for a predetermined period of time, thereby the heat is transferred from the heat transfer part to the user's skin. Then, the state proceeded to the heat transfer part-side heat absorption state so as to transfer the heat from the skin to the heat transfer part.
