PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure which can inhibit the desorption of a fiber layer.SOLUTION: One embodiment of a honeycomb structure 100 according to the present invention has a plurality of through holes 110a partitioned with a porous partition wall 120, at least part of the inner wall of a pore 150 formed on the partition wall 120 and/or at least part of the partition wall 120 is coated with a fiber layer 140, the fiber layer 140 contains an inorganic fiber 140a and an inorganic binder particle 140b, and the central particle size of the inorganic binder particle 140b is 10 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
