PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle guard which has no possibility that an open lumen in a distal end slope part (bevel, inclined plane, groove) of a needle is kept exposed, and that a distal arm segment does not protect a distal front end of the needle any more.SOLUTION: A needle guard 100 has elastic arms 101, 102, the elastic arms extend from a base, and the base is arranged so as to slide along a shaft of a needle 130. The needle guard has a longitudinal confining member 152, and the confining member is interlocked with the elastic arms, operates in cooperation with the elastic arms, and covers the entire distal front end of the needle when the needle is stored in the needle guard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7-10 |
