PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement member of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane, which can keep a reinforcement effect over a long period of time even in a use environment under high-temperature, high-humidify and strong acid, and which is suitable specifically for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane comprises a compact of a resin composition that contains a polyarylene phenylene sulfide resin (resin (A)), as a main resin component, and contains 50 ppm or less of a sodium metal element relative to the mass of the resin (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None |
