Three dimensional precast reinforced concrete load bearing units for multi-storey buildings etc. constitute membrane slabs forming walls floors and ceilings. The system utilises two basic units, one embodying a floor slab and at least one integral wall, being open topped and open on at lease one sidE, and a complimentary roof unit. Pref. the floors are sub-tied and ceilings have cast stiffening frames either pre- or post-tensioned. Reinforced peripheries accommodate openings and facades are cavitised and contain air or an insulation layer. The units are cast horizontally and rotated 90 deg. for stripping.
