The clothes hanger for skirts or trousers consists of two facing sides pieces underneath a hanging-hook (4), and between which the free ends of the trouser legs or the skirt hem are clamped. Attached to the hook is a piece (1) which is open at the bottom. One side (5) of the piece has a strip (12) linked to it. The free edge (14) of the strip encloses a gap with the other side (6) of the piece . The strip (12) can be moved on a pivot axle (11) against a stop (9).
