The invention relates to a device for transmitting forces between metal connection pieces (6) and the ends (5) of rod-shaped structural elements (1) made of carbon fibre-reinforced plastics. The structural elements (1) have at their end sections (5) reinforcements (13) which are surrounded by suitably adapted sleeves (10).
