PURPOSE:To manufacture an Fe-Ni alloy sheet in high yield, by subjecting a thin slab of Fe-Ni alloy which contains specific amounts of Ni and in which austenite grain size is regulated to a specific value to cold rolling and annealing under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:In the Fe-Ni alloy consisting of 32-32% Ni and the balance composed principally of Fe, the austenite grain size of the thin slab of the above alloy is regulated to <=85mu. According to the above initial austenite grain size dro(mu), cold rolling the carried out at a cold draft of >=19.dro<0.215>(%), followed by annealing at >=700 deg.C. In this way flaws are prevented from occurring on the thin slab surface at the time of cold rolling, so that yield can be improved.
