PURPOSE:To take out an abnormal original easily and to perform a re- transmission work smoothly by performing control in link action with the existence/nonexistence of an abnormal signal outputted from a control section of a transmission device and storing a normal or abnormal original separately sorted. CONSTITUTION:When a piece of image information is being transmitted nor mally, no abnormal signal is outputted, a selector is in a position A shown with the broken line, and a normal original 3 is put into a storage section 8a. In case of an abnormalcy in transmission, the original 3 is regarded as abnormal, an abnormal signal is outputted from a switching control section 21, the selector 7 is raised via a link mechanism to a position B shown with the solid line, and the abnormal original advancing toward a transmission stacker 2 is put into a storage section 8b. In this way, the normal original 3 or the abnormal original 3 is separated and stored in the transmission stacker 2. As a result, a re-transmission work can be performed very smoothly as the abnormal original 3 can be taken out easily.
