PURPOSE:To make a recording speed high speed, by making a recording medium a superconductive material film. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 1 of a superconductive film is moved relatively to a write head 2 and a read head 3. The write head 2 generates a magnetic field by a current signal from a write amplifier 4. By applying the magnetic field to the recording medium 1, a transistor magnetic flux is pinned onto the superconductive material film. In that case, necessary intensity of magnetic field becomes not less than a critical field HC of the superconductive film. A pinned trap magnetic flux is interlinked to the read head 3 by transfer of the recording medium 1, and is detected with a superconductive quantum interferometer 5. Output of the superconductive quantum interferometer 5 is amplified with an amplifier 7 to be taken out. In that case, bias current is applied to the superconductive quantum interferometer 5 with a current source 8. Inductance of the write head can be lessened, and writing can be performed at high speed. Further, reading can be performed at high speed by using the superconductive quantum interferometer capable of detecting micromagnetic field and by lessening inductance of the read head. |
