SOLAR DRYER FOR VEGETABLES AND FRUIT

Novelty: a solar dryer serving for the dehydration of vegetables and fruit is disclosed. Constitution: the solar air heater, piping drawing hot air to the construction which is composed of the base΄s framework, shaped sheet iron, plexiglass, a plexiglass case and drawers; said construction operates directly with the solar energy acting on the product stored in the drawers via the solar beams penetrating the plexiglass and indirectly via the hot air drawn therein by the air heater. The shaped sheet iron - which is found exactly under the drawers - reflects, increases and distributes the produced temperature in an even manner. Advantages: easy dismounting and transport of the construction; operation of the air heater with least solar energy even in cloudy conditions; compared to existing dehydration methods, the invented one offers significant reduction of the fruit΄s hydration time.
