PURPOSE:To show the degree of wetting by a numerical value by a method wherein the radiant intensity of a wavelength in a wet state of the surface of a material to be measured is measured and compared with the radiant intensity of a wavelength of which the radiant intensity is lowered little by the wet state, and further a comparison is made by using a dry material as a reference. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed-level radiant intensity is measured by a multi-spectrum scanner 3 in regard to the surface of an inner wall on the north side of a building for which a state of dew formation is measured, and the result is made A. Next, the radiant intensity of another prescribed level is measured and the result is made B. Then, computation of A/B is executed by a microcomputer 4 and a value thus obtained is made C. This shows a wet state of the surface on which dew is formed. Next, a prescribed-level radiant intensity of the inner wall surface on the indoor south side which is made of the same material and on which no dew is formed is measured and the result is made D. Then, the radiant intensity of another prescribed level is measured and the result is made E. D/E is computed and the result is made F. This shows a dry state and serves as a reference value on the occasion of obtaining a numerical value. Then, C/F is computed and a value obtained thereby is made G. The value G shows a ratio between the wet state of the surface of the material of a measuring level and the wet state of a dry material, and thus the state of dew formation on the surface of the material can be shown by the numerical value. |
