PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the mounting time and adjusting time for speed detecting means and make it possible to provide a highly accurate control by providing speed detecting signal correction means which synthesizes the size wave output signals fro each sensor and outputs correction speed detecting signals. SOLUTION: Speed detection signal correction means 12 synthesizes and corrects the sine wave output signals from a sensor 'a' and a sensor 'b' of the speed detection means 10. By doing this, sine wave output signal having uniform waveform voltage level can be obtained. Speed computing means 6 computes the speed by using the sine wave output signal having uniform waveform voltage level. Hereinafter, a primary current command value I* of motor 3 is calculated based on a deviation between the command valueωr* of speed command means 7 and the outputωr of the speed computing means 7 and, by this current treatment means 9, a command voltage V* for driving the motor 3 is computed from the primary current command value I* from the speed control means 8 and the primary current detection value I from current detection means 4.
