PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow anybody to easily and more reliably obtain merchandise information by specifying a code attached to the merchandise and inquiring the merchandise even when an inquiry destination is unclear in the case of wanting to obtain the information of the merchandise. SOLUTION: The homepage address of a merchandise providing company corresponding to the inquired merchandise and the address on the homepage of the merchandise are retrieved from the homepage addresses of respective merchandise providing companies which are preliminarily provided from the merchandise providing companies and stored and the respective addresses of the homepages of merchandise provided by the respective merchandise providing companies based on a merchandise inquiry performed through the Internet by specifying the merchandise from a user based on a preliminarily set specifying method, and the homepage address of the retrieved merchandise providing company and the merchandise address are specified and returned to the user. |
