FIELD: metallurgy; devices for cutting into cut lengths of continuously moving ingot or rolled product; applicable in continuous casting machines and mill lines. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic drive has pumping- accumulating plant, hydraulic control valve whose pressure inlet is communicated with accumulator of pumping-accumulating plant, and shears hydraulic cylinder. Accumulator has safety valve. One of check valves of hydraulic drive is designed for communication of said accumulator with pressure inlet of hydraulic control valve, and the other check valve, for communication of accumulator with outlet of hydraulic control valve communicated with rod cavity of shears hydraulic cylinder. EFFECT: reduced power consumption in process of ingot cutting and costs of hydraulic drive, possibility of use of low-power motors and low-pressure accumulators. 1 dwg
