The invention describes a mixture of chemical compounds which can be activated by a liquid product to release simultaneously two incompatible gases, for creation of a dentifrice paste. The chemical mixture comprises: (1) a compound able to release a primary gas when contacted with a liquid activator; (2) a second compound able to release another gas when contacted with the liquid, the first and second compounds being mutually incompatible; (3) the two compounds are physically and chemically separated by a coating of an excipient.
