The keyboard switching device has a series of contact pieces with commutating devices made of conducting material which project towards the keyboard mechanism. When the keys are pressed, the contact pieces are deflected with their lower face against the base of the mechanism in order to make contact with an electrically conducting region. When a key is released, the contact piece is automatically snapped back out of contact with the conducting region. The projecting part of the commutating device has a series of first projections which rest on insulated areas of the contact region. There is a second set of smaller projections which are kept at a small distance from the corresponding contacts. |
