<p>The gas burner for a domestic cooker has a pot shaped mixing chamber (6) with a large diameter circular recess (8) above the central opening (7) into which fits the centering flange (16) of the burner head (12). This head is dish shaped, with sloping sides, increasing in diameter towards the top. Around its base is a ring of jet holes (22) which discharge sideways. A set of channels (14) equal in number to the jet holes, offset from them discharges at an angle parallel to the sides, at the top. Thus a corresponding set of flames is directed at an angle of about 45 deg.</p> |
