<p>The chimney covr, of fibre-reinforced, flexible plastic, has an opening for the smoke to energe, and fits over the chimney. It consists of a cap and a sleeve stuck together and bears a pattern, opt. simulating brickwork. A one-piece cover is made by covering a former with glass-fibre cloth soaked in liq. plastic and allowed to harden. The pattern is pref. applied before the plastic has set. The sleeve section of the cover is made oversize and trimmed on site.</p> |
