The invention relates to a built-in double-profile cylinder lock (15, 16), the cylinder core of which is subdivided into a plurality of cylinder-core longitudinal parts (2, 7, 3, 8, 4, 9, 5, 10, 6) which are arranged coaxially relative to one another and through which a key (13) designed as a flat key can pass and which are preferably all designed as locking-pin carrier discs and bear axially flush (on the end face) against one another. The flat key (13) can pass through all or only a selection or number of the cylinder-core longitudinal parts (2 to 10) and release their pin tumblers (17, 18). The cylinder-core longitudinal part (4) having a locking bit (driver 11) and preferably arranged in the middle region of the length of the lock possesses at least one locking-pin tumbler, the key (13) being, for example, so long that it can lift out the pin tumblers of this cylinder-core longitudinal part having the driver (11). As a result, on the one hand, a burglar-proof lock of robust design with a very large number of locking permutations is obtained and, moreover, can be used in numerous variations and, on the other hand, is especially suitable for master locking systems. <IMAGE>
