PURPOSE: To use for the convenience of preservation and automatic assembly of a connector; and also provide a housing causing no chip (slag) of plastics in separating the respective housings at the time of assembly by connecting many housings with each other to make them into a carrier strip state. CONSTITUTION: The respective connector housings 2 have carrier projections 24, e.g. extendedly protruded from an upper surface 8, in one surface 6; and recesses 28 in a position in accordance with the carrier projection 24 in another surface 4 of the housings 2. The carrier projections 24 in one housing 2 are inserted into the recesses 28 is the adjacent housings 2 in turn to connect the mating housings with each other. When a connector is assembled, the carrier projections 24 are sheared or extracted to push them into the other housing or foldedly fixed, thereby making them unhinderable to the function of the connector. |
