PURPOSE: To provide a power cable capable of transporting a power in a wide range by injecting a specified organic peroxide to a passage for polyethylene resin when a crosslinked polyethylenic insulated power cable is manufactured by a three-layer common extruding device. CONSTITUTION: An antioxidant is blended to a high pressure method low density polyethylene to form an insulating layer resin composition A. An antioxidant and acetylene black are kneaded into a high pressure method ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer to form a pellet, an organic peroxide is added and impregnated to form a semiconductive layer resin composition B. In the course of heating, kneading and extruding the composition A to a cylinder at 160 deg.C by an insulating layer extruding machine 3, the organic peroxide is injected by an organic peroxide injecting device 39. The composition B is also fed onto a conductor 5 at 160 deg.C from internal and external semiconductive layer extruding machines 2, 4 to form an internal semiconductive layer 6, an insulating layer 7 and an external semiconductive layer 8 followed by crosslinking at 230 deg.C to form a power cable. |
