A disposable spray dispensing assembly (10) for liquid materials includes a container (12) that comprises an aerosol can (14), and a spray head initially detached from the container. A cap (26) is connected to the container and includes a central recess (38) extending into the chamber (24) and presenting a hole (43). A tube (46) within the chamber is connected to a cylindrical wall (37) surrounding the recess. The cap (26) is non-releasably connected to the container (12) and hinders refilling of the chamber (24) in order to reduce the likelihood that the chamber (24) might contain a material different than the contents indicated on the container's label. A plug (74) is provided for selectively closing the hole (43) when the spray head (52) is not connected to the hole (43).
