摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the calling requests to plural terminals and also to secure connection to a specific voice communication terminal equipment by performing the broadcasting to plural voice communication equipments and selecting ones to establish the calls among those communication equipments that sent the answers. SOLUTION: The host names #11 to #15 which specify each terminal and the IP addresses #11 to #15 are assigned to the voice communication terminals #11 to #15 which are connected to a packet switching network #0. These terminals, host names and addresses are corresponding in 1:1 to each other. Each of addresses #11 to #15 consists of 32 bits and can designate a specific voice communication terminal as well as a specific host name by designating the specific value. Then every IP address is divided into 16 bits, and the first and second halves of the address are defined as a network address part and a host address part respectively. When all bits of the host address part are set at '1', for example, the network address part communicates with all terminals having the common IP addresses, that is, can perform a broadcasting operation.</p>
