<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a physically handicapped person or an infant or the like to always easily and comfortably scan and exactly read a code pattern from a code pattern recording face. SOLUTION: A reading auxiliary member 10 is constituted by fixedly overlapping a plate-shaped member 14 for scanning guidance in almost the same shape as a hard substrate 12 on the hard substrate 12 with adhesive or the like. The hard substrate 12 has a code pattern recording face on which a second- dimensional code pattern (dot code pattern) 1 is printed and recorded so as to be optically readable on one side. A window part 16 is dug at a position corresponding to the printed position of the code pattern 1 in the plate-shaped member 14 for scanning guidance. When the top end of a pen type reading device 18 is positioned in the window part 16, and the reading device 18 is manually moved along the window part 16, the reading device 18 is allowed to move without meandering on the code pattern 1.</p> |
