Controlled release of mechanical brake on vehicle driven by hydrostatic motors

The brake release has a controller for the hydrostatic propulsion system which when the vehicle is on a slope allows the hydrostatic pressure to build to a point where when the brake is released the drive will produce sufficient force to prevent the vehicle rolling down the slope. The pressure is compared to a threshold value and when this is reached the mechanical brake is released.
