FIELD: biology, medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of sindican in cells of the first human fluid or tissue sample. This the first sample is taken from the human fluid or tissue where the presence of malignant, premalignant, hyperplastic cells or cells showing morphological alternations as compared with normal cells are suspected. Sindican content is compared in the first sample and with sindican levels in the second biological material. The indicated second sample is taken from fluid or tissue of the same type as the first sample of biological material with exception for that the second sample has normal or less transformed cells as compared with the cells from the first sample. Decreased content of sindican in the indicated first sample of biological material as compared with that in the second sample of biological material indicates the presence of malignant or premalignant alternations in cells of the first sample. Indicated alternations can be presented as malignant transformation, or premalignant transformation, or hyperplasia, or morphological alternation. The source of biological material is physiological fluid: plasma, serum. urea or cerebrospinal liquor. Method carries the information content.
