<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device for picture display menu selection which enables a user to select function menus by easy procedures even in the case that an electronic or electric apparatus has many functions and has a small display part for display of function menus. SOLUTION: The screen of an LCD(liquid crystal display) 2 is vertically and horizontally divided into several parts to form plural division pictures A to I, and function menus of a portable telephone are displayed in these division pictures A to I respectively, and the screen is scrolled in vertical and horizontal directions by the operation of a scroll key, and the division picture where a desired menu is displayed is placed in the center of the screen to select the menu, and thereafter, the menu is executed by the operation of a decision key.</p> |
