摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a complete synthetic image from two partial images without artifact. SOLUTION: The contents of images in an overlapping region of a first image and a second image are the same in both images, and an end fringe of a first member exists on the first image and exists as an end fringe of a shadow of the second image. According to this method, every rotation displacement and every vertical displacement between the first image and the second image are obtained by correcting geometrical distortion in a first digital image and a second digital image and making the end fringe of the first member in the first image agree with the shadow in the second image to correct the direction of image based on every rotation displacement. Every horizontal displacement between the first image and the second image is obtained by correlating the contents of images in an overlapping part of the first and second images to stitch the first and second images along the end fringe of the first member based on the horizontal displacement and the vertical displacement.
