PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user correctly recognize an intersection, at which one should by right turn to the right or left, even when the intersection with similar features is located in the vicinity of the intersection at which one should turn to the right or left by right, in a navigation system provided with the function of enlarging and displaying the intersection at which one should turn to the right or left by right. SOLUTION: When one's own motor vehicle is located in the display area of an intersection-enlarged figure in which attention is given to the intersection, at which one should originally turn to the right or left, and intersection-enlarged figure in which attention is given to the intersection at which one should by right turn to the right or left is displayed. In the case that one's own motor vehicle is not located within the display area of the intersection-enlarged figure, in which attention is given to the intersection at which one should originally turn to the right or to the left, an intersection-enlarged figure in which attention is given to the location of one's own motor vehicle is displayed. |
