PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and high performance optical controller in which an incident light from a light source is exquisitely shut off or passed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a shutter member 101 which shuts off the incident light from the light source if necessary, a moving body 102 which is moved by a driving force, a movable part 112 which supports and moves the shutter member linked with the moving body 102, a driving part 105 which drives the moving body 102, a controlling part 106 which controls the moving body 102 and the driving part 105 so that the shutter member 101 moves to a position at which the incident light is shut off.
