<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas-blast circuit breaker, in small size with a structure which is advantageous in earthquake proof strength, which can be manufactured at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This gas-blast circuit breaker is provided with a tank 7 receiving insulating gas and a breaking element 8, a bushing 1 provided to make this tank protrude outwardly to have a terminal part 1b in the tip end part, and an external capacitor unit 2 provided in parallel to this bushing to electrically connect one end part fixed to the terminal part of the bushing tip end part and to fix the other end part relating to the tank, the external capacitor unit comprises a plurality of capacitors 21, 22 connected in series by a connection member 4, a distance between one end part of this series connected unit and the terminal part of the hushing is made so as to be fixed more adjacent than the distance between the connection member and the bushing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
