PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article having an excellent resistance to leaking. SOLUTION: The absorptive article including a water absorptive resin (a) of 0.01 to 3 in the rate of gel permeation (ml/min) and a water absorptive resin (b) of 5 to 200 in the rate of gel permeation (ml/min) is used. The rate of gel permeation is determined from the following equation by feeding a measuring sample into a filtration cylindrical tube having a wire net and capillary with a cock at the bottom end of an aperture of a perpendicularly erected cylinder, pouring physiological saline therein, and allowing the sample to stand still for 30 minutes after the beginning of the pouring, then inserting a load with the wire net into the filtration cylinder in such a manner that the wire net and the measuring sample come into contact with each other, placing a weight on the load with the wire net after one minute, and further allowing the sample to stand still for one minute, then opening the cock and measuring the time (T1) (second) before the liquid level of the physiological saline reaches a graduation line of 20 ml from a graduation line of 40 ml: (The rate of gel permeation)=20×60/(T1-T0).
