COMPRESSION RELEASE ENGINE DELAY METHOD AND APPARATUS

The normal four cycle power promoting engine operation during the compression release retarding operation of the internal combustion engine is converted to a two cycle operation by invalidating the movement of the moving points of an intake and exhaust valve in the normal engine operation during 2 revolutions of each crank shaft, and by changing the normal open and close timing of the intake and exhaust vlave in order to provide the compression release state with respect to each revolution of the crank shaft during the revolutions of the 2 crank shafts. Process and method are used for compression release retarding of the engine.
