<p>PURPOSE:To inexpensively purify sewage, by dividing a reactor main body into two upper and lower chambers and providing a partition wall for separating a liquid and a microorganism carrier while arranging the microorganism carrier to the upper and lower regions of the partition wall. CONSTITUTION:A waste sugar solution is supplied into a reactor main body 11 from an inflow pipe 26. The lower region below the partition wall in an intermediate cylindrical part 12 is packed with a heavy microorganism carrier while the upper region above the partition wall 13 is packed with a light microorganism carrier. Subsequently, a blower 17 is operated to diffuse gas from an air diffusion member 16 and the carriers in the reactor main body are fluidized. The gas generated by reaction is withdrawn from a generated gas exhaust pipe 21 to be stored in a gas storage tank 28.</p> |
