PURPOSE:To prevent an abnormal noise from being generated from an ultrasonic motor by disposing a permanent magnet magnetized in the same polarity on either one of opposed vibrator and dynamic unit perpendicularly to the opposed contacting surfaces, and pressurizing it. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic motor comprises a piezoelectric unit 1, a vibrator 2 fixed by bonding to the surface of the unit, and a dynamic unit 4 including a slide material 5, the vibrator 2 is contacted under pressure with the unit 4 to drive the unit 4 by a traveling wave generated by the vibrator 2. In this case, the vibrator 2 is formed of a material, such as an iron to be attracted to a magnet, and a permanent magnet 3 is fixed by bonding to the unit 4. The magnet 3 is magnetized in the same polarity on the contacting surface oppositely to the vibrator 2. Thus, the vibrator 2 and the magnet 3 are attracted at all contacts by uniform force, and contacted under pressure to obtain a stable driving speed. |
