<p>Device for detecting a code, especially an identification code carried by a carrier (3), by movement of this carrier in front of a means (19) for reading this code, comprising guidance means which comprise a channel (13) having an upper entry aperture (14) and a lower exit aperture (15), this channel exhibiting, between these apertures, shapes which are complementary to the shapes of the said carrier so as to guide the latter, as well as stopping means (6) placed below and at a distance from the lower exit aperture of the abovementioned channel, in such a way that, the said carrier (3) being inserted into the said channel (13) through its upper entry aperture (14) then being released, it moves by gravity in the said channel while being guided by virtue of the said complementary shapes, and it exits via its lower exit aperture (15) then is stopped by the said stopping means (6) in order to be able to be picked up again, the said reading means being arranged laterally to the said channel in a position such that the code which the said carrier bears passes in front of this means in order to be read. <IMAGE></p> |
