PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dwelling house having a movable partition easily changing the dimensions of respective rooms as necessary for going in/out from the respective rooms. SOLUTION: A dwelling house is so constituted that a habitable region 1 partitioned by a wall 3 is provided, entrances 4, 5 for going in/out of the habitable region 1 are separately provided in the wall 3, a movable partition 10 partitioning the habitable region 1 into two rooms 8, 9 is movably provided between the entrances 4, 5 parallel to the wall. The movable partition 10 is arbitrarily moved so that the dimensions of the respective rooms 4, 5 partitioned by the movable partition 10 can be easily changed or the movable partition 10 is moved and positioned between the entrances 4, 5 so that residents can go in/out from the respective entrances 4, 5 in the respective rooms 8, 9 partitioned by the movable partition.
